Freddie Mercury is celebrating his 60th birthday in style - despite being dead for 15 years.The legendary Queen's frontman - who died of AIDS in 1991 - would have celebrated his milestone birthday this September and his former bandmates are planning to mark the occasion with a glitzy bash.Guitarist Brian May said: "It's going to be big and very flamboyant as you would expect. We're going to celebrate in true Freddie style."The songwriter, pianist and singer wrote some of the band's greatest anthems including 'Bohemian Rhapsody', 'We Are The Champions' and 'Somebody To Love'.His performance with the band at Live Aid in 1986 has been voted as the greatest live performance of all time in rock music.Freddie's band is still touring after reforming in 2005 with former Free and Band Company singer Paul Rogers replacing the late star.
