Australian singer Gabriella Cilmi has revealed she has a crush on Robert Downey Jr. and thinks he is a ''hottie''.

The 18-year-old singer insists she doesn't worry about how much older the married 'Sherlock Holmes' star, 45, is, as she thinks he is a "hottie".

Asked who she fancies, Gabriella said: "Robert Downey Jr. He's a bit old, but that hasn't stopped a lot of people! I'm only joking. I think he's really cute and just a total hottie."

Gabriella - who is single - also said she would not consider dating a soccer player, because they have a bad reputation for not being faithful to their girlfriends.

The Australian beauty - who lives in Britain - added: "Oh no, I don't think a footballer is for me. They seem to get themselves into quite a bit of trouble. Maybe it's peer pressure? They should learn to think for themselves.

"But I'm sure they're not all like that."
