Gail Porter is finally winning her battle with alopecia. The 35-year-old TV presenter started losing her hair last year, due to the stress of her split from rocker husband Dan Hipgrave. However, newly divorced Gail's hair is now starting to grow back. A friend of the star told Heat magazine: "Gail is shaving her hair off at the moment as it is growing back in clumps, which is incredible progress."Hair expert Dr Marilyn Sherlock claims Gail's locks could grow back completely. He said: "Alopecia is commonly caused by stress, so when the trauma is over, it may grow again by as much as half an inch a month. Her eyebrows have returned, so this is a good sign. She just has to relax, live her life and be patient."When Gail began losing her hair she decided to shave her head and not hide her embarrassing problem.
