George Michael is lending the piano used by John Lennon to compose 'Imagine' to an anti-war exhibition. The British singer, who bought the piano for over $2 million in 2000, has agreed to let it be used in the US exhibition organised by his lover Kenny Goss.Goss revealed: "We decided to do it in Dallas, because what better place is there to reiterate how important peace is? Dallas is President George Bush's home. It's a great place to remind people how important it is that we find peace."Goss said the exhibition will focus on three "trouble spots" - Vietnam, Beirut and Afghanistan - and feature the work of renowned war photographer Don McCullin.Late Beatles star Lennon composed his famous peace anthem 'Imagine' on the piano in 1971. The piano has never left the UK before.Michael, who met Goss 11 years ago, admitted he was gay in 1998 after being arrested for engaging in a "lewd act" in a Los Angeles public toilet.

The 'Careless Whisper' singer also recently revealed marijuana keeps him "sane".

This year he has come under fire after being found slumped at the wheel of his car, crashing into two parked cars and allegedly engaging in gay sex acts with a stranger on London's Hampstead Heath.

The exhibition, which will be held in the Goss Gallery, opens on December 5.
