George Michael is to open a new art gallery. The 'Careless Whisper' singer and his partner Kenny Goss are launching the gallery in Dallas, America, because their personal collection - valued at over £100 million and featuring works by British artists including Gilbert and George, Jake and Dinos Chapman and Bridget Riley - has grown so much.Kenny, who revealed the space will be 10,000 sq ft, said: "Our collection is always expanding so the need for more space is important. We would love to have enough space to have permanent displays as well as short exhibits."Our plan is to have one of the most interesting contemporary art spaces in the US. If all goes as planned, we should be in our new home in the next three to four years."The couple opened a smaller space in Texas four years ago, which hosts over 600 exhibitions of works drawn from the Goss-Michael Foundation's collection.George and Kenny have been collecting art for over 11 years and even have pieces specially made for them.Kenny added: "Sarah Lucas, the next artist to be featured at the Foundation has just created one of her signature bunny pieces especially for George and me - Pepsi and Cocky."
