John (Graeme Hawley) is stunned as he takes in the news that Sally (Sally Whittaker) has strong feelings for him. After revealing that he makes her feel alive, she’s mortified to discover that she’s completely misconstrued the situation and John doesn't reciprocate her feelings. Sally is unconvinced when John tries to tell her she's developed a vivid imagination through studying poetry and has confused her love of literature with love for him. He eventually has to spell it out to a humiliated Sally that he doesn't think he can continue teaching her.Back at school, John is unnerved when Rosie (Helen Flanagan) arrives at school and finds it difficult to remain professional when she tries to seduce him. Rosie questions him about the awkward atmosphere between him and her mum and he eventually reveals to a stunned Rosie that Sally came on to him. After getting over the shock, Rosie's amused about her mum's mid-life crush. Will she keep this news to herself? Realising he's lost Sarah's (Tina O'Brien) wedding dress, frantic Jason (Ryan Thomas) hobbles back to the café to look for it but it’s nowhere to be seen and he’s forced to lie that he’s taken it safely to the dry cleaners whilst smug David (Jack P Shepherd) listens in. Later, as Sarah, Jason and Bethany (Amy/ Emily Walton) arrive at the bonfire, Sarah’s horror struck to see the Morton's guy going up in flames on the fire…wearing her dress! She turns on Jason for lying to her after only a week of married life. Will she ever forgive Jason? Will David get away with it? Jodie (Samantha Seager) is enjoying her night with Lloyd (Craig Charles) at the bonfire and as they enjoy their first kiss, they're interrupted by Jerry (Michael Starke) telling them that the kids are playing and he's going for a pint in the beer tent. However, disaster strikes when Finlay (Ramone Quinn) gets too close to the fire and gets a rogue spark in his eye. Jodie and Lloyd take him straight to casualty, but when Jerry arrives angry with Jodie for letting this happen, a blazing row ensues. Will Jerry learn to understand that Jodie is not a fulltime nanny and has a life of her own? Elsewhere, Michelle (Kym Ryder) and Ryan (Ben Thompson) move into the pub and Steve (Simon Gregson) can’t help think how nice it would be if it was just the three of them living there. He asks Michelle to move in permanently, reassuring her that Liz and Vernon will move out and find their own place once they see that they’re there to stay. Will Michelle agree? How will Liz feels when she arrives back from holiday to two new house-mates?
