Giorgio Armani's designs helped raise over £1 million for Haiti last week.
The Italian designer - who counts Megan Fox and David Beckham among his celebrity fans - provided a number of outfits for the Fashion For Relief show at London's Somerset House, which saw some of the biggest names in showbiz take to the catwalk.
Stars including Kate Moss, Naomi Campbell, Kimberly Walsh, Alexandra Burke, Dame Shirley Bassey, Linda Evangelista and Geri Halliwell strutted their stuff on the runway wearing outfits by Armani, the late Alexander McQueen, Vivienne Westwood and Dolce and Gabbana to help the earthquake-stricken nation.
The show took place just a couple of weeks after Armani showcased his autumn/winter designs at Milan Fashion Week.
He rounded off his show with a flashing light display in which around 30 models hit the catwalk sporting only nude briefs - to showcase the new Emporio Armani/Reebok sneaker collection.
BANG Showbiz would also like to take this opportunity to apologise for referring to Giorgio Armani as "the late Giorgio Armani" in an article last Thursday (18.02.10).
This information is incorrect and BANG is happy to point out the fashion legend is very much alive and well.
