Gnarls Barkley's number one hit 'Crazy' was almost never recorded because band member Danger Mouse tried to give it away. The producer of the hip-hop duo, aka Brian Burton, tried to give the track away to other artists but, luckily for him, none of his music industry contacts wanted it.He said: "I played the track that became 'Crazy' to a couple of people before I played it to Cee-Lo (the lead singer in Gnarls Barkley). If one of them had said they wanted it then 'Crazy' would have never happened."But they weren't interested. I am so glad nobody else got hold of it."0Comments | Be the first to comment!
