Graham Coxon is "amazed" by Blur's back catalogue.
The guitarist - who has reconciled with the group following a six-year rift - has recently started listening to the band's hits again ahead of their summer concerts and admits he had forgotten how good the 'Tender' stars were.
He said: "I've listened to Blur recently. It's pretty amazing stuff. I was amazed by how mad some of it was, and emotional and charged and contrary. It sounds so youthful. And I guess that's what all good groups are."
I used to play a lot of things so begrudgingly in the old days - I was such a mard-a**e - and I regret a lot of that
The musician admits he regrets his previous attitude to some of the group's biggest hits and is relishing the chance to play them again.
He added: "We've rehearsed 'Charmless Man' and it's a right laugh. You wouldn't believe how much fun it is to play. I used to play a lot of things so begrudgingly in the old days - I was such a mard-a**e - and I regret a lot of that. I moaned so much when I was 25."
