Gwen Stefani and husband Gavin Rossdale have named their new son Kingston James McGregor Rossdale.The 'No Doubt' singer gave birth, via a Caesarean section, to the baby, who weighed a healthy 7.5 pounds, at Cedars-Sinai Medical Centre, Los Angeles, on Friday (26.05.06).The couple are said to still be in a state of euphoria following the arrival of their first child together. One source said the 36-year-old star - who also runs her own fashion label L.A.M.B - arrived at the hospital "wearing her signature red lipstick and looked very excited".Her husband, lead singer of rock band Bush, apparently rushed out of the operation room to deliver the good news to anxious friends and family.A statement was issued by Gwen's spokesman, Dave Tomberlin, stating: "Both mother and child are doing well."Gwen confirmed her pregnancy while onstage for the final stop of her solo tour in Florida in mid-December last year (05).

She said: "I want you to sing so loud that the baby hears it."

Gavin already has a 16-year-old daughter with former lover British rock singer Pearl Lowe.
