Gwen Stefani's tour crew were warned to get rid of all drugs before crossing the border into Canada. The 'Wind It Up' singer performed in Atlantic City, the latest leg of her 'The Sweet Escape Tour', on Sunday (27.05.07) and her crew were issued a stern warning about taking illegal substances across the border for their next stop in Montreal on Tuesday (29.05.07).Signs backstage read, "clean out contraband", clearly indicating that authorities would not turn a blind eye.Meanwhile, Gwen took time out from her hectic tour schedule to celebrate son Kingston's first birthday on Saturday (26.05.07).A crew source told the New York Daily News newspaper: "We had cake, and he was playing with all the band members. It was a lot of fun. The people here are what really make this tour great."Before the tour kicked-off in April, Gwen - who played a 42-date US tour while pregnant with Kingston - said she believed her son would benefit from going on the road with her.Gwen - who is married to British rocker Gavin Rossdale - said: "Because we've travelled so much, he's never got into a schedule. I think this tour is going to be the greatest time to get him one.
"He'll have a crib on the tour bus and a room will be set up at every venue with his toys, nappy bed and a rocking chair. So I'll be rocking him to sleep in the dressing room every night before I go onstage and rock out!"
