Halle Berry has broken her toe during a promotional tour.

The 'X-men: The Last Stand' actress reportedly tripped in a French airport, when returning from the Cannes Film Festival, where she had been promoting the summer blockbuster.

The unfortunate accident is the latest in a line of calamities the 39-year-old star has reportedly endured over the past few days.

Halle was first struck down by a food allergy, which caused her to brake out in spots, after she gorged on a feast of exotic shrimp while visiting an aircraft carrier.

She was quoted in Britain's Daily Star newspaper as saying: "The funny thing was I went out and I wanted to shake as many hands as I could.

"And all of a sudden my head feels like it's on fire and I notice some guys looking at me funny."

The unfortunate incident took an immediate turn for the worse, when a nurse mistakenly injected Halle with an overdose of allergy drugs - which caused the actress to pass out.

She added: "I went down to the infirmary and I got a big whopping shot of Benadryl and it put me to sleep for four hours in some admiral's room missing everything."
