Movie star HAYDEN CHRISTENSEN is considering turning his 200 acre (80.9 hectares) farm outside Toronto, Canada into a lavender mecca.
The Star Wars star has big plans for his country retreat - he even hopes to rear livestock.
Ambitious Christensen, who already owns a pair of Vietnamese pot-bellied pigs, says, "(I'll) start off with some cattle and horses, then get a little more inventive. Get some sheep, some goats. Maybe an alpaca."
But it's lavender fields he has his heart set on: "It doesn't require much maintenance, but apparently it's a bitch to harvest, because you have to cut it all by hand."
The actor has also become the latest celebrity to take on a pair of porky pets - he now owns two Vietnamese potbellied pigs.
The Canadian actor keeps the black pigs, named Buddy and Petunia, at his country farm retreat outside Toronto, and admits they've forced him to rethink his diet.
He tells Details magazine, "I'm not a vegetarian, but since I've gotten these guys, I can't eat pork anymore. It's killing me. I especially love prosciutto."
Christensen isn't the only Hollywood star to enjoy the company of pigs - George Clooney had a porky companion called Max, who died, and former Bond girl Denise Richards also keeps a pair of pot-bellied pets.

Good, as long as he promises not to try and act any more we'll all be happy.
