"His daughter lives with Kim Basinger and we have no idea what goes on behind closed doors.
"Maybe she just didn't want to see him, maybe she's let him down. People lose it, forgive him. Don't throw stones when you live in a glass house, we are not here to judge and criticise what other people do."
Heather and Sir Paul were married for fours years before announcing their split last May.
