Heather Mills bored by McCartney?

Heather Mills allegedly split from husband Sir Paul McCartney because she got bored of him.Philip Goodhand - a friend of the former model - has spoke out saying that he believes boredom played a part in the couple's break-up.He is quoted in Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper as saying: "I don't think that it's too laughable to suggest that she was bored."Goodhand - who has known Heather for 22 years - said that he felt there were also a number of other factors that contributed to the collapse of their union.He added: "You've got two people who have both got tremendous interests that are going to take them in opposite directions.I knew the marriage was in trouble when I spoke to Heather four months ago to wish her a happy birthday."Since the couple announced their split, Heather has been lambasted by showbiz commentators and the British public many of whom have branded her a "gold digger" after it was reported that Heather could walk away with as much as

£200 million of Sir Paul's fortune.

Goodhand feels that Heather is strong enough to cope with all of the negative publicity.

He said: "I warned her that there was going to be a very anti-Heather Mills attitude but she's not the sort of person who is going to feel sorry for herself."

Sir Paul and Heather are currently living apart.
