Heidi Klum's snake fear

06-08-2007 07:30

Heidi Klum was terrified when she had to pose with a deadly 18ft python for a fashion shoot.

The German supermodel - who has two sons, Henry and Johan, with singer husband Seal, and a daughter, Leni, from her relationship with F1 team boss Flavio Briatore - has worked with all kinds of wild animals but feared the huge serpent would crush her to death.

Heidi, 34, said: "I've had to ride on elephants without saddles, climb with monkeys in trees and I've swam with sharks and dolphins.

"But working with an 18ft python wrapped around me was the hardest. We were in the wild and you never know - something can go wrong and they can crush you like a nut."

The beauty, who is now a TV presenter, also insists modelling is tough work.

Heidi admits she has had to pose in skimpy clothes in icy weather, and fur coats in the heat of summer.

She complained: "Everything has to be done at the wrong time. In summer, you're shooting for winter. So everyone else is in vests and you're in a big furry coat, turtle neck sweater and boots.
