Dame Helen Mirren wishes she could wear flip-flops on the red carpet.
The British actress looked radiant when she accepted an Oscar, a BAFTA and a Golden Globe this year for her performance in 'The Queen', but admits she couldn't wait to get out of her glamorous clothes at every event.
Mirren said: "I'm getting used to it but I don't like wearing these uncomfortable shoes. I'd rather be at home in flip-flops and elastic-waisted trousers!"
The 'Calendar Girls' star recently confessed she didn't wear any underwear to the Oscars.
She said: "My outfit was made for me so I didn't have to put on any underwear."
