Hilary Swank is "recovering" following a minor operation to remove a "small, benign growth".The 34-year-old actress visited hospital and was forced to undergo the procedure after experiencing some "discomfort", but is now back at home.Hilary's manager Jason Weinberg said: "Hilary went to see her doctor, who prescribed an immediate course of action that included a brief hospitalisation to remove a small, benign growth. "Her condition has been resolved and there are no continuing health issues, with the exception of some short-term rest and recuperation."No other details of the operation were revealed.It was recently revealed the Oscar-winning actress - who lost a huge amount of weight to star in 2004 movie 'Million Dollar Baby' - will pile on the pounds for her role in the upcoming movie adaptation of Mireille Guiliano's best-selling book 'French Women Don't Get Fat'.A movie insider said: "She'll gain 20 to 30lbs. But it's no sweat. She has played a man before in 'Boys Don't Cry'. She can handle anything."
