Relations between Marlon (Mark Charnock) and Eli (Joseph Gilgun) are severed further when Marlon's forced to lie for his brother again. Later, Marlon's story starts to unravel when the bookie arrives to give him the money back from his win on the dogs. Donna (Verity Rushworth) expresses her disappointment that Marlon lied and he resolves to tell her everything. After summoning Eli to the hospital he explains his intentions only for Eli to issue a chilling warning. If he tells Donna, they're finished…Elsewhere, Donna (Verity Rushworth) turns her attentions back to the auction and she gloats to Pollard (Chris Chittell) about their new found wealth. She mentions the continuing Pollard problem to Zak (Steve Halliwell) who suggests that they use the wave of press interest around Marlon to win the auction. What does he have in mind?Also, Jo (Roxanne Pallett) continues to fend off insults from Andy (Kelvin Fletcher) about the goats.

Paddy (Dominic Brunt) advises her to see an experienced goat farmer, but the idea backfires when he recognises Jo's goats as his own.

He demands that Jo buys them off him and afterwards she goes off in search of Shadrach (Andy Devine). Will she succeed in killing him?
