Bad shopper Isla Fisher

Isla Fisher is a "poor" shopper.

The Australian-born actress, who plays fashion-conscious Becky Bloomwood in new film 'Confessions of a Shopaholic', admits she has little in common with her latest movie character.

- explained to InStyle magazine: I was mixing bright colours together and just being more confident with heels, but after a week and a half, I was back in jeans

She said: "I shop very rarely and very poorly. The fashion things I buy are rarely a hit. I will see something I like and then take it home and it doesn't work with anything else."

Isla tried to make more of an effort with her clothes after being inspired by her role in the movie, but soon returned to her old habits.

The 32-year-old beauty - who is engaged to 'Borat...' star Sacha Baron Cohen. - explained to InStyle magazine: "I was mixing bright colours together and just being more confident with heels, but after a week and a half, I was back in jeans."

'Confessions of a Shopaholic' is released worldwide from February.
