GOGO'S WIEDLIN CAUGHT UP IN THEFT ALLEGATIONSGOGO'S star JANE WIEDLIN is caught up in a legal wrangle after being named in a police report concerning the theft of a cellphone headset.The RUSH HOUR singer, who is currently on tour with the reformed girlband, was named because staff at cellphone store Hollywood Wireless recognised her while she was making purchases shortly before a male friend she was with walked out without paying for a $200 (£105) accessory last month (29MAR05).Staff also took the rocker's ID for a credit card purchase just before she left with the alleged thief.LOS ANGELES POLICE DEPARTMENT confirms Wiedlin has been named in the report that was filed on Sunday (02APR05) after the proprietor of the store noticed the alleged theft while checking his surveillance video.A spokeswoman for LAPD says, "Ms Wiedlin is described as being a Caucasian with blonde hair, 130 to 140 pounds and aged between 40 to 45."Wiedlin's companion is not named in the police report, but is described as being a male Caucasian with blond hair, 150 to 165 pounds and approximately 30 to 35- years-old.0Comments | Be the first to comment!
