Jay-Z is removing all references to Cristal Champagne from the lyrics to his songs - as he continues his boycott of the alcoholic drink. The star - who is dating Beyonce Knowles - has changed the words to a number of his songs ahead of his performance at New York's Radio City Music Hall this coming Sunday (25.06.06).Ron Berkowitz, a spokesman for the '99 Problems' rapper, said: "You can bet that Cristal will not be in Jay's lyrics. What will replace it, only he knows at this time, because he rhymes on the fly."Jay-Z was furious after Cristal's managing director Federic Rouzard said he wasn't happy with the drink being associated with the world of hip-hop, adding: "What can we do? We can't forbid people from buying it."The rapper labelled his comments "racist" and vowed to "no longer support any of his products".In a statement, the star - who has also stopped serving the expensive drink in his 40/40 Clubs in Manhattan and Atlantic City - said: "The response from our customers has been incredible."This weekend, we sold more bottles of Krug and Perrier Jouet than ever and we expect that trend to continue. They are great products and we are glad they have embraced us with open arms."
