Jennifer Aniston and Gerard Butler were reportedly spotted "making out" at the Golden Globe Awards.

The 40-year-old actress - who was previously married to Brad Pitt and has previously dated actor Vince Vaughn and singer John Mayer - and her 'Bounty Hunter' co-star stunned fellow guests backstage after the ceremony on Sunday (17.01.10) with their intimate behaviour, despite previously denying they are in a relationship.

A source told the New York Post newspaper: "After they presented an award together, they were drinking champagne backstage.

All sorts of different characteristics appeal, from gentleness and innocence to strength and power - it just depends how they manifest themselves in a particular person

"At one point, they were making out in the kitchen. They were attached at the hip all night. They definitely seemed very couple-y. Producers for the show were actually laughing about it over their walkie-talkies."

Representatives for the pair have not commented on the reports.

Gerard and Jennifer were first romantically linked last July.

The 40-year-old actor denied he was involved in a relationship with Jennifer but recently admitted he is looking for love.

When asked about what he looks for in an ideal woman, he said: "That's pretty much impossible to say because I'm not sure I'd know who she was until I saw her. All sorts of different characteristics appeal, from gentleness and innocence to strength and power - it just depends how they manifest themselves in a particular person."
