Jennifer Connelly’s weight loss is due to grief over her father’s death.
Connelly’s husband, Inkheart actor Paul Bettany, told OK! magazine that she was suffering as a result of her loss.
He was keen to diminish rumours surrounding Connelly’s weight loss.
Bettany said: “I will tell you. My wife just lost her father”.
Connelly’s latest film, He’s Just Not That Into You, hits cinema screens on 6th February.
