Jennifer Garner's J.Lo no to Dallas movie

Jennifer Garner reportedly turned down a role in 'Dallas' after discovering Jennifer Lopez had been signed up.The 'Alias' actress - who is married to Jennifer Lopez's ex-fiance Ben Affleck - had been lined up to play Bobby Ewing's wife Pam in the movie.But Garner backed out when she found out Lopez was starring as JR's wife Sue-Ellen. A source is quoted by website Hollywood.com as saying: "Jennifer Garner was really keen to be in 'Dallas', but I think she felt there would be a bit of a strain between them on set and that could have led to awkward situations."Ben Affleck started dating his 'Daredevil' co-star in July 2004 - seven months after he ended his engagement with J.Lo.Garner, who has a six-month-old daughter, Violet, with Affleck, was determined not to fuel the rivalry between her and Lopez and decided turning down the role would be the mature thing to do.Other stars lined up to appear in the the film include Luke Wilson as Bobby Ewing, John Travolta as JR and Shirley MacClaine as Miss Ellie.
