Jennifer Garner is the Best Celebrity Mom.

The 27-year-old actress has topped a poll of over 10,000 women on US website ParentDish.com to be named the most popular famous mother.

Jennifer - who raises two daughters, three-year-old Violet Anne and four-month-old Seraphina Rose Elizabeth, with husband Ben Affleck - scooped 37 per cent of votes.

Second place was shared between 'Monsters Vs Aliens' star Reese Witherspoon and American First Lady Michelle Obama

who both polled 26 per cent.

Meanwhile, childless actress Jennifer Aniston proved a more popular choice of babysitter than Angelina Jolie, who raises six children with Jennifer's ex-husband Brad Pitt.

When the poll asked US parents which celebrity they would trust most to look after their brood, Jennifer - who has been single since she split from singer John Mayer earlier this year - came second with 22 per cent, while Angelina and Brad finished fourth.

Comedienne Ellen DeGeneres and her wife Portia Rossi - who have no children - proved a popular choice, topping the category with 33 per cent.

The survey - which also saw Lindsay Lohan's mother Dina and Courtney Love named the worst celebrity moms - was conducted to celebrate Mother's Day in America on Sunday (11.05.09).
