Jessica Alba wants "three or four" children.

The 'Sin City' star - who gave birth to her first child Honor Marie last June - says she and husband Cash Warren would love to have more kids because they are enjoying parenthood so much.

She said: We'll have a few kids - three or four."

Despite loving being a mother, the actress admits it is an exhausting experience.

She explained: "Even if she's sleeping, I still check if she's breathing. She's fine. She's just sleeping, but you still go in and make sure she's fine. Tuck her in three times."

The 28-year-old beauty has now regained her slim figure but admits shedding the weight she gained in pregnancy "wasn't fun" and she struggles to find the time to exercise.

She added to US TV show 'Extra': "It didn't all come off at once. In fact, I shockingly gained weight right after I had the baby, so I worked out twice a day and I ate really healthy.

"Now I don't really have time to work out so much anymore - I'm running after my daughter and holding her. She's heavy, so that really helps with the old arm tone!"
