Jessie J wants to buy a practical baby gift for Adele.
The 'Price Tag' hitmaker went to school with the 'Someone Like You' star - who is expecting her first child with partner Simon Konecki - and is planning to get a present for the new baby, but wants to help her friend out with something useful.
She said: "I need to go and get her a gift for the baby. I want to get her something she needs - like a steriliser or something."
Though Jessie and Adele are still in contact, the 'Voice' coach admits they didn't spend a lot of time together at the BRIT sctool of performing arts.
She told Britain's ELLE magazine: "She was really nice but I was singing '42nd street' on the other side of the building and she was one of the cool kids."
And Jessie, 24, admits she was "very intense" as a student and wrote poetry that she then turned into songs.
She said: "I wrote poems that I'd then make into songs and they were always very intense.
"It was never, 'There's a boy at school that I like.' It was always, 'What is love? What is beauty?' "
