The Polo Jeans Co.’s Art Stars exhibition brought together celebrities and artists to celebrate and raise money for the Teenage Cancer Trust.
Razorlight front man Johnny Borrell performed to a celebrity packed crowd including Princess Beatrice, X-Factor’s Brian Friedman and top models such as Edie Campbell.
Using the iconic Stars and Stripes flag as their inspiration, over 40 of Europe’s most exciting young artists created a piece of art in the form of a three dimensional star. Each of the unique designs were auctioned off throughout the evening with all funds raised going to the Teenage Cancer Trust.
All of the money raised from the Art Star auction will be used to build specialist units in NHS hospitals where teenagers can be teenagers. With six young people being diagnosed with cancer in the UK each day, these specialist units allow young people to be treated alongside their peers in an environment that is suited to their needs.
