Depp buys paradise island for family
Johnny Depp has reportedly spent 1.9millionGBP on a private paradise island for his family.The 'Pirates of the Caribbean' star bought the mile-long island on the Bahamas for his long-time love Vanessa Paradis and their two children Lily Rose Melody, 5, and Jack, 2.The tropical island, 60 miles south of Nassau, boasts six secluded white beaches, a central lagoon surrounded by palm trees, a private harbour and staff quarters.
The 41-year-old heartthrob, who has just signed up for the sequel to last year's blockbuster, 'The Pirates of the Caribbean', joins British tycoon Sir Richard Branson and the late Marlon Brando, who bought nearby islands.Meanwhile, Johnny Depp's children have already been living the luxury lifestyle - and his five-year-old daughter already has a Chanel handbag.According to her mother, Vanessa Paradis, little Lily Rose is already a dedicated follower of fashion. Vanessa, who also has a two-year-old son, Jack, with Johnny, revealed: "She is already such a fashionable lady.When I started modelling the Chanel bags, I had to ask for a little pink one for her, which she just adores."
