Joshua Jackson wants a pet dinosaur.
The former 'Dawson's Creek' star hopes people will one day have the giant-sized extinct animals as family pets.
He said: "We live in an age where anything is possible. In the news the other day, there was a man talking about how he's going to recreate a woolly mammoth. We're one step away from pet tyrannosauruses."

The 30-year-old actor - who is currently starring in sci-fi thriller TV show 'Fringes' - feels relieved to try something new and finally disassociate himself with the teen drama series.
He explained: "This show is much more up my alley. There are not too many similarities between the two. We live in this world of impossibilities, and every time I read one of these scripts it's like a 'Pulp Fiction' novel. And the good news is I don't have to cry! I'm done with tears!"
Despite this new role, Joshua is glad he starred in 'Dawson's Creek' as it helped launch his career.
He said: "I have very fond memories of that time in my life. And I am very, very lucky to have been on that show."
