Julia Roberts' Prada Pairing

What do Julia Roberts and The Devil Wears Prada have in common?There's buzz that Roberts will be directed in her next movie, The Friday Night Knitting Club, by Prada director David Frankel.The Friday Night Knitting Club is based on Kate Jacobs' novel of the same name. Roberts will star as a single mom who runs a knitting store while raising a teenage daughter. Mike Binder, who recently wrote and directed Adam Sandler's Reign Over Me, is writing the Knitting screenplay. Before Prada, Frankel, right, worked primarily in television on series such as Sex and the City and Entourage. Roberts is not expected to begin work on the movie until after she gives birth to her and hubby Daniel Moder's third child. The baby is reportedly due this summer.However, Roberts' rep says she "has no idea" if Frankel is directing. A rep for Roberts' producing partner on the flick, Christine Peters, did not return calls. When asked if Frankel was involved, his manager answered by saying Frankel hasn't read the book.Marc Malkin E Entertainment
