Katherine Jackson has returned to her home in Calabasas to see her grandchildren.

Paris Jackson - who has lived with her grandmother since the death of her father Michael Jackson in 2009 - had been concerned as she had not seen or heard from her in some time, but has now tweeted her relief at her return.

She wrote: "grandma's here ! #thankyougod <33 (sic)"

An hour later, she added: "5 hours of sleep last night , been awake for 23 haha goodnight everybody <33 (sic)"

Katherine had been away from the home in Los Angeles for 11 days in Arizona, where it had been suggested she was being kept against her will by her children - including Janet, Jermaine and Rebbie - but she has denied that was the case.

She said in a statement: "I am devastated that while I've been away, my grandchildren have been taken away from me, and I'm coming home. There are rumours going around about me that I have been kidnapped and held against my will.

"I am here today to let everybody to know that I am fine.

"My children would never do a thing to me like that, holding me against my will - it's very stupid for people to think that."

Earlier this week, Janet slapped her niece Paris - who lives at the home with her brothers Prince Michael, 15, and 'Blanket', 10 - and called her a "selfish little b***h" when she arrived at the Calabasas mansion to take them to Arizona.

However, Paris retorted by slapping her back and shouting it was not their house to take control of.
