Katie And Alex At War

Alex Reid and Katie Price are still at war over the terms of their split.

Yesterday Reid agreed to sign the statement announcing the split as well as confidentiality papers, which would stop him revealing intimate details of the relationship.

Today, after receiving support from Price’s ex-husband, Peter Andre, Reid reportedly asked for £2million before he would sign either paper, leaving the glamour model in tears.

Andre told a friend, "I actually feel sorry for Alex, she is obviously trying to make him look like the bad guy when it seems he loved her."

Reid has now reportedly gone back on his pledge to move out of Price’s Surrey Mansion, meaning they are currently living in separate wings of their marital home.

A source said: “Katie even brought her disabled son, Harvey, into the equation, explaining he could not be moved from the house because of his special needs. He doesn’t even pay or contribute towards the mortgage so it is particularly galling for Kate.”

Katie is said to believe that Reid has already made a fortune from her without her giving him a huge payout to move out and keep quiet. Since the pair married Reid has made £200,000 from his own TV show and £75,000 for a magazine deal.

Meanwhile Reid spoke about the troubles for the first time in his Star magazine column, insisting he still loved his wife, “I’m still wearing my wedding ring, maybe I’m a hopeless romantic, but there you go. I want to work on our marriage.

“Maybe I am an optimist, but I believe in doing the honorable thing. Despite us both being busy with other things in our life, I have always made time for my wife.

“I would sacrifice anything to spend time with her. She has always been my priority.”

The troubles reached boiling point when Reid reportedly sold pictures of himself teaching Price’s son Junior to fight after Price said she didn’t want her son in the ring.
