The 26-year-old star - who is the daughter of rocker Ozzy Osbourne and TV personality Sharon Osbourne - admits the 65-year-old singer-and-actress was one of her biggest inspirations when she was younger, and when she finally met the entertainment legend, she was so overwhelmed, she had to walk away.

Kelly said: Who have I been most star-struck by? Liza Minnelli and Joel Gray. I watched them in films as a child and they inspired me to work in the entertainment business.

"When I met them, I got so excited. But I was really embarrassed too - I got a tear in my eye and had to walk away."

Kelly has been spending more time with another of her idols recently - Madonna, as she is the face of the singer's Material Girl fashion line, which she co-runs with her teenage daughter Lourdes.

Writing in her Closer magazine column, she said: "I'm always really excited to be doing anything with Material Girl and still can never believe I'm part of something like this - getting to work with amazing people like my idol Madonna and her daughter.

"I never thought I'd be the face of a brand - it's a dream come true and I know I'm very lucky."
