Kimberly Stewart is set to take after her father – and become a rock star.The beautiful 25-year-old, who vowed never to follow in dad Rod Stewart’s footsteps, has revealed she is now planning to record her first album in January. The blonde beauty, who is the 59-year-old star’s daughter with former wife actress Alana Stewart, has revealed a record producer encouraged her to try singing – and she loved it so much she is now pursuing a music career. The former correspondent for American TV entertainment show The Insider, who claims she was perfectly satisfied with the job, said: “A producer came to me and asked if this was something I’d be interested in doing. I was like, ‘Well, I don’t want to make a fool of myself’, so we did a test run in the studio and now I’m taking singing lessons.” Kimberley, who plays violin and piano added: “I never thought of myself as being able to sing, but I have a good voice, and it’s in my blood.” The star said her famous father is yet to hear her sing – but plans to record a cover of his 1978 No 1 hit ‘Do You Think I’m Sexy’. She revealed: “The album will be kind of pop/rock and they want me to do a ‘Do You Think I’m Sexy’ cover.”
