Kristin Davis is dating a celebrity photographer.

The 'Sex and the City' actress - who plays Park Avenue princess Charlotte York Goldenblatt in the hit US TV show and movie - is in a relationship with Russell James.

A source told People magazine: "It's been going on for a bit now. She's very supportive of him - she seems very happy."

The new couple were spotted enjoying an intimate meal with a friend at Los Angeles eatery Katsuya Brentwood last week.

The pair sat together on a bench and spent much of the evening touching and flirting, with the 44-year-old actress even putting her head on his shoulder at one point.

It's been going on for a bit now. She's very supportive of him - she seems very happy.

A source said: "She was all smiles. A little giddy."

The couple then left the restaurant holding hands.

Kristin and Russell first sparked rumours they were dating in June, when Kristin was seen at a party thrown to promote the launch of Russell's new photography book.

A source said at the time: "They hung out at the party and were definitely a little flirty even in public. They seemed like an item."
