Lance Bass is reportedly on the brink of breaking up with lover Reichen Lehmkuhl.
The former N*Sync star - who recently admitted he is homosexual - is apparently tired of his gay activist partner's "controlling" ways. A source told the New York Post newspaper: "Reichen forced Lance to come out just at the same time he has a book being released so he could ride the publicity wave. "He is a big gay activist and very controlling. He wants Lance to give up his straight friends and do whatever he tells him to." During a recent interview, Reichen insisted that Lance's coming out was the best thing he could do - for both of them. He said: "I'm happy it's shocking people. I couldn't be more proud of Lance. It's definitely a sense of relief. "There are a lot more smiles. We are so happy about it." Lance revealed he is gay and is in a "very stable" relationship with the 'Amazing Race' reality TV star last week.The 27-year-old star admitted he had been too afraid of revealing his sexuality during his time in N*Sync, which included Justin Timberlake, because he feared it would damage the group's commercial prospects.
