Liam Hemsworth loves dicing with death while surfing.
The hunky 'Hunger Games' actor admitted he loves the adrenaline rush he gets from extreme surfing and challenges himself to ride bigger waves.
He told America's Men's Health magazine: "The fear of dying? That's part of the fun of it. The adrenaline you get from surfing big waves. I've seen a shark before. You get the worst wipeouts when you're not expecting it."
Liam - who is engaged to 'Hannah Montana' star Miley Cyrus - also admitted he is addicted to food and found it difficult to change his diet for his role in 'The Hunger Games' because food is so important to him.
He explained: "It was tough because I'm an eater. If I have one addiction in life, it's probably food.
"You gotta get, like, 24 Krispy Kreme's and eat all of them. I lose my mind. Go crazy. Krispy Kreme fever!"
While Liam, 22, has become a pin-up for women all over the world, he admitted he went through as awkward phase as a teenager.
He said: "I used to have an afro - like Will Ferrell in 'Semi-Pro'. It was bleached blond from the sun. I was tall and awkward. I was not cool."
