One Direction think The Wanted are two-faced.
The 'Live While We're Young' hitmakers refuse to slam their boy band rivals, but are disappointed that The Wanted hunks feel the need to criticize them behind their backs.
Liam Payne - who has been linked to Leona Lewis since splitting from long-term girlfriend Danielle Peazer - told Fabulous magazine: "The only thing that's bad for me about them is actually they were really nice to our faces, but when it came to talking to the media they were really trashy about us.
"We'd never done anything wrong, we were just running around doing our thing. We'd never purposely talk trash about anyone and we still haven't said anything about them now."
The five-piece - also comprising Zayn Malik, Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson - denied the bands are in competition with each other for chart domination, yet hinted that their own mass appeal outshines The Wanted's success.
Liam, 19, continued: "I don't think there's any real competition about us. They sing dance music.
"They're real lads' lads whereas we're just mischievous, which I think is different. For me, you just look at twitter followers, which I think is a big player."
Meanwhile, The Wanted recently joked that they couldn't compete with the popularity of their cheeky younger rivals, when Jay McGuiness quipped: "It is depressing. But we are hairier and more decrepit. We are the ropier version."

well the wanted are not 2 faced they are just the best to be honset one direction are more 2 faced than the wanted the wanted have worked verry hard to get to were they are now and you are calling them 2 faced please

Sophie do you have an idea what two faced is?! It's not about working hard it's doing exactly what they did, being lovely to someones face then talking trashy behind their back. Both bands have worked hard, but that doesn't make them any less two faced. The One Direction boys have every right to bitch about them or call them after they've done that, but they're not! It's actually the article heading that's called them two faced.
And for the record I like the wanted so I'm not hating on them.

i love the wanted all ways have all way will. i hate one direction so much all they want is to be more like than the wanted so will make up anythin to do that but it wont work the wanted are so much better than 1d and alway will be love them xx

the wanted are not 2 faced one direction wanted the wanted to look bad their just trying to make a battle of the two bands that is what i think the wanted forever i love you !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! number 1 fan at your service the wanted i hate you one direction.
