Linda Evangelista has given birth to a baby boy.Augustin James Evangelista, the supermodel's first child, was born on Wednesday (11.10.06) in a hospital in New York City.The 41-year-old Canadian catwalk queen has refused to publicly reveal who the father is.Her agent, Didier Fernandez, is rumoured to be the dad, but he exclaimed he was rendered "speechless" by the claims.Speaking about her pregnancy over the summer, Evangelista revealed she was "embracing" the experience.She said at the time: "I'm not freaked out at all. I embrace it. I believe I'm doing everything to go through this as smoothly as possible."I'm either doing yoga or exercising every day."The model also insisted that motherhood would not spell her retirement from the catwalk.
She added: "I decided when I was 12 that modelling is what I wanted to do.
"I know how to be a good model. And I didn't have a 'Plan B' in place."
In 1999, Evangelista suffered a miscarriage when she was six months pregnant by her then boyfriend, French soccer player Fabian Barthez.
