23 year old Tiffany Page signed to Mercury Records in early 2009 and spent most of last summer in LA and London writing and recording her debut album, which will be released on June 20th.
Tiffany is poised to release a new single, ‘On Your Head’ on May 24th. On first listen it is her voice that will strike you first. It’s a voice that knocks you back and then sits you to attention.
It has the sassy swagger of Chrissie Hynde, Shirley Manson’s vampish puss and the hellion roar of Courtney Love. It soars and soothes and cracks around the edges, as spiky as it is seductive.
That it’s wrapped around three perfectly formed minutes of sunburst guitars and a chorus that cements itself to the inside of your skull only enhances the effect.
Tiffany has been confirmed for the first ever New To Q tour in May, dates below.
