Liv Tyler almost gave up acting to become a fulltime mother.The 'Lord of the Rings' star took the whole of last year off to give birth to her first child, Milo, and has now admitted she nearly turned her back on Hollywood altogether.Liv told the Buffalo News newspaper: "It was really a reflective period for me, and I was asking myself all these questions, like, 'Should I retire and move to the country and have lots of babies?' "That year off helped me realize I love what I do."The 29-year-old actress - the daughter of Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler - is currently filming new thriller 'The Strangers' in South Carolina, in the heart of America's tobacco country.And Liv is enjoying the relaxed attitude to nicotine consumptionShe said: "What's really great about this place is you can smoke almost anywhere."
