Liv Tyler says people thought her new scary movie was a snuff film - because it was so realistic.The 'Lord of the Rings' actress - who makes her horror film debut in the upcoming 'The Strangers', about a couple who are terrorised when they take a break to a remote holiday home - has revealed some scenes had to be cut because they were so frightening.Liv said: "It's a really eccentric, dark little movie. I think they actually wound up cutting a little because it was too realistic - people thought it was a snuff film or something."'The Strangers' sees Bryan Bertino, who also wrote the script, make his directorial debut.Liv stars alongside Scott Speedman, Kip Weeks and Gemma Ward in the movie.The 30-year-old actress recently revealed she wants to make less films so she can spend more time with her son Milo and husband Royston Langdon.Liv - who stars opposite Edward Norton in upcoming summer blockbuster 'The Incredible Hulk' - said: "It's good for me to take a break.
