Madonna left fans hot under the collar after demanding the air-conditioning was turned down at her New York concert last night (18.07.06).The 'Hung Up' singer turned up the heat at her sell-out concert at Madison Square Garden - because of her sensitive vocal cords.Fans suffered in the blistering heat on one of the hottest days of the year and the temperature soared to 90 degrees as Madonna belted out her final song. One fan, Stephanie Krukovsky, told America's New York Daily News newspaper: "It's suffocating in here. I'm disappointed that the air conditioner is not on. I have been fanning myself all night."Some veteran fans, aware of Madonna's anti air-conditioning rants, came prepared - bringing along electric hand fans with them to keep cool.Olga Byrne said: "It's really, really bad. It's so hot."
