Madonna's divorce wish

Madonna has reportedly told Guy Ritchie she wants a divorce.The '4 Minutes' singer is believed to have confessed she had fallen out of love with the 'Snatch' director and Guy agreed their seven-year marriage was over.A source told Britain's Daily Mirror newspaper: "They were both very calm. They both knew the relationship was over. Madonna told Guy, 'I'm sorry, I want a divorce.' And he agreed. It was quite painless but very sad." Both have reportedly spoken to divorce lawyers - Madonna is rumoured to have hired Fiona Shackleton, the lawyer who represented Sir Paul McCartney in his split from Heather Mills. Guy - who is currently staying at their Wiltshire estate, while Madonna is in New York - has taken legal advice from top London law firm Forsters.The couple are determined the break-up will be amicable and have agreed the welfare of their children - Lourdes, 11, Rocco, seven and two-year-old David - is their top priority.Meanwhile, Guy has also told Madonna he is quitting Kabbalah.Although Madonna remains a staunch follower of the mystical Jewish religion Guy has lost his faith, forcing the couple even further apart.
