Maggie Gyllenhaal has baby girl

Maggie Gyllenhaal has become a mum.The actress and her actor fiancé Peter Sarsgaard's first child was born in a New York hospital on Tuesday afternoon (03.10.06).Maggie's spokeswoman, Amanda Silverman, said: "Everyone is healthy and happy."The couple have named their new arrival Ramona.Maggie - who has made over 20 films despite being only 28-years-old - and Peter have been together four years.She shot to fame after starring in cult drama 'Donnie Darko', alongside her actor brother Jake, and the sadomasochistic arthouse film 'Secretary' with James Spader.Golden Globe nominee Peter - who is considered to be one of the hottest new actors in Hollywood - has starred in the Oscar-winning drama 'Boys Don't Cry', 'Shattered Glass', 'Jarhead' and 'Flightplan'.

The couple have so far only worked together once, in the low-budget 'In God's Hands', however, the film was never released.
