Marcia Cross ties the knot

'Desperate Housewives' star Marcia Cross has married boyfriend Tom Mahoney.The pair - who started dating last year - tied the knot at the Church of Our Saviour Episcopal Paris, in California, on Saturday (24.06.06).The flame-haired actress - who plays uptight Bree Van De Kamp on the hit show - looked radiant in an elegant Reem Acra dress and dazzling designer jewellery. Seven children of some of her closest friends served as flower girls.The star's spokesman told America's People magazine: "It was a beautiful ceremony. They're very happy."After the nuptials more than 200 friends and family members, including Marcia's co-stars Eva Longoria and Felicity Huffman, joined the newlyweds at a swanky reception.Teri Hatcher, who plays hapless Susan Mayer in the show, was not present.

An insider is quoted in Britain's The Sun newspaper as saying: "Marcia and Teri simply do not get on."

The marriage is the first for both Marcia and stockbroker Tom, 48.

The 44-year-old actress recently told Entertainment Tonight she was "thrilled that I met someone that I want to spend the rest of my life with".
