Mariah Carey wants to "rule the world" with Simon Cowell.

The 'Touch My Body' singer is a big fan of the music mogul and would love to work with him.

She said: "The man has it all. I've always admired him and have told him we could rule the world together."

However, while Simon has revealed he admires Mariah's musical talent he insists he is too busy working with Leona Lewis to team up with the American star.

He said: "Mariah is the best singer ever - and I mean ever - but what I liked about her was the big power ballads. If she goes back to that we may have a deal, but until then I will work with Leona - who I believe could take Mariah's crown."

Mariah, 38, recently appeared as a guest on UK reality TV show 'The X Factor', on which Simon is a judge.
