Mary J Blige warns animal activists to leave her coat aloneSoul singer Mary J Blige has warned animal rights campaigners to steer clear of
dousing her in paint, because she insists it's her right to wear fur if she
wants.The No More Drama star is a fan of coats made from animal skin and refuses to
adhere to the concerns of animal activists, including People For The Ethical
Treatment Of Animals (PETA).
She says, "Those PETA people don't want to mess with me, they don't want to
throw paint on my coat because it's not just going to be throwing paint. It's
going to be Mary in the news the next day, you know what I mean?"What gives them the right to destroy someone's coat because their opinion is
that you shouldn't wear animals? Understand what I'm saying?"Meanwhile the star credits her husband Kendu Isaacs with restoring her faith in men,
insisting it was his love which inspired her to write new song The Father In You.The 35-year-old singer, who wed Isaacs in 2003, is convinced destructive past
relationships almost destroyed her chances of finding happiness.
She says, "It has made me look at men differently. My husband isn't perfect,
but he's not lying, cheating or beating on me - those are all the things I went
through before.
"Now I'm able to see what a real man is. That's why I wrote the song The
Father In You telling him I trust him like the father I never had in my life.
"I need to be able to trust him, he has to nurture me. Marriage has made me
work on myself a lot too. I see how proud and stubborn I can be, but you have
to bend before you break."

I am just sickened that people feel they have to wear real fur, when the Faux fur looks so real. I wish they knew everything that goes on to get the fur they wear. Shame shame!!!!!
